Sanders is sad to be interested, but isn't signed and isn't under option by the studio to do the film (unlike the actors who have options for two more films). Sanders hasn’t chosen his next film yet, so this follow up could be it.
David Koepp was hired to write the sequel script in late April.
The first Snow White and the Huntsman garnered mixed-to-weak reviews but has pulled in $118 million worldwide in its first week.
As long as it continues to perform well--more Huntsman will happen sooner or later.
