Based upon author Harold Frederic's anthology--the story follows a close-knit family torn apart by the war between States. Bill Kauffman penned the adapted script.
Fonda will play a character named Avery.
Billy Campbell and Angus MacFadyen also star.
The film is currently shooting in Kings Landing, New Brunswick Canada.
