Theron Says Mad Max Reboot Shoots Soon

Out promoting Prometheus actress Charlize Theron is talking George Miller's long delayed "Mad Max: Fury Road"--the reboot of the Mad Max franchise.

Theron tells Screen Rant that "I leave in like two and a half weeks and we start shooting I think around Mid-July in Namibia. I’m f**king dying, too, it’s been three years. It’s time to skin this cat already, so yeah, I’m very excited about it."

She also adds that the film isn't gonna be what audiences might expect- "Like with Snow White and the Huntsman, there is so much potential to re-imagine that world. It's such an interesting world and how much it still resonates today after 20 years or whatever it's been. We're going back to that world but this is not a prequel or sequel or anything like that."

Tom Hardy will star as post-apocalyptic drifter Max Rockatansky made famous first by Mel Gibson.

Nicholas Hoult, Riley Keough, and Adelaide Clemens were all set to co-star and seemingly remain attached to Fury. Aussie Supermodel Abbey Lee Kershaw will make her acting debut in the pic.
