Harry Potter film series star Emma Watson and producer David Heyman are set to work together again on potential franchise starter "Queen of the Tearling" says Variety.
Warner Bros has acquired the rights to author Erika Johansen' s upcoming fantasy trilogy of novels and have attached Watson to star in the film adaptation of the first.
The story is set three centuries after an environmental catastrophe when a malevolent Red Queen holds considerable power. The book is being promoted as a "female Game of Thrones".
The search for a director and writer is underway.
Heyman and Jeff Clifford will produce the film.
