Felicity Jones Nabs "Rosaline" Role

Felicity Jones is in early negotiations to join "Rosaline" says  Variety.

Based on Rebecca Serle's debut novel--When You Were Mine--A contemporary high school-set take on "Romeo and Juliet" that follows Rose whose boyfriend Rob is stolen by her cousin and best friend Juliet who is rumored to have suicidal tendencies.

Lily Collins was linked to play Rose then "Girls" star Allison Williams was up for the title role in while Dave Franco was due to play Rob. Deborah Ann Woll was eyed for Juliet. Now the trade notes that there are no actors currently attached-save for Jones. No word on what Jones' role is yet.

The film will use an adapted script penned by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber. Two-time Tony Award-nominated theater director Alex Timbers has signed on to make his film directing debut here. Timbers replaces Michael Sucsy who vacated even as major roles were already cast.

Shawn Levy will produce the film
