The story follows Washington Roebling a brilliant but inexperienced engineer left to oversee the Brooklyn Bridge's construction when his father dies. Besieged by calamity and doubt, his obsession threatens to destroy him until he discovers an improbable ally in his charming and shrewd wife.
Christine Vachon will produce the film.
Brooklyn Bridge will shoot in August of this year,
