Larson Takes "The Good Luck of Right Now"

Brie Larson is in talks to star in a film adaptation of author Matthew Quick's book "The Good Luck of Right Now" says Variety.

The Philadelphia-set story follows the lives of four people, all outsiders, who come together.

Larson plays a librarian who believes she was abducted by aliens, and falls for a quirky young man who takes care of his dementia-stricken mother.

"Little Miss Sunshine" filmmakers Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris are set to direct using an adapted screenplay by Mike White

Bruce Cohen, who produced the film adaptation of Silver Linings Playbook, will do the same here.
