The Wolverine 2: Mangold And Jackman Return?

For all of that talk about recasting the  role of Wolverine once Bryan Singer's "X-Men : Days of Future Past hits in May since Hugh Jackman's contract with Marvel is up--It seems that he is primed to wear the claws again for the as yet Untitled Wolverine Sequel

As we know, Singer is already looking forward to directing "X-Men: Apocalypse" sometime next year in time for a 2016 release.

Contract issues aside Jackman and his "The Wolverine" director James Mangold have both discussed the notion of doing a follow-up . However, they didn't want to move forward until they had something great in mind.

While talking to fans on Twitter , Mangold said: "We are figuring it all out. At the moment, I'm shooting The next #Wolverine after #XmenApocalypse."

That would mean  "The Wolverine 2" is on target for a 2017 or 2018 release.

Mangold currently has the mystery tale "The Deep Blue Goodbye" lined up as his next film.
