Director Nicolas Winding Refn has made it known for a while now that he would very much like to helm the superhero pic "Wonder Woman"

As buzz builds for Drive and his planned remake of "Logan's Run" soon, Refn says via The Playlist that "I’m getting closer with Logan’s Run. I think someone said to me in a meeting that if I get Logan’s Run right, then I’ll get Wonder Woman."

He added that his top choice remains actress Christina Hendricks to play the amazon goddess
