Creators of the Disney Channel animated series Phineas & Ferb Jeff 'Swampy' Marsh and Dan Povenmire have signed fresh deals that include a feature film says Deadline.
The deal means the pair will run the show for another season, and both are now officially attached to work on a feature film and are said to already be working on the script.
The deal also also means they get a lucrative share of the merchandising rights.
The property follows two stepbrothers who find inventive things to do on each day of their summer vacation such as building a roller coaster out of materials you would find in your house. Unbeknownst to them, their pet platypus, Perry, leads a double life as a secret agent
The TV movie Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension drew an impressive 7.6 million viewers in its debut this month, making it the most-watched cable movie of the year.
