Hill Holds Neighborhood Meetings

Jonah Hill  is in talks to join the cast of the sci-fi comedy "Neighborhood Watch" says Vulture.

There's a catch though that could keep the now slimmed down Hill off the Watch--Rumors are that he wants to get paid considerably more than his usual quote. One very good reason? The buzz from this Fall's Moneyball and his performance.

In the film Vince Vaughn and his "Dodgeball" co-star Ben Stiller play suburban dads who use the guise of a neighborhood watch group for some male-bonding time away from their families. They soon accidentally uncover a plot to destroy the world.

Akiva Schaffer is directing the project from a script by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.

The pic once had Will Ferrell moving in on one of the lead roles star, David Dobkin, Shawn Levy and Peter Segal were all attached to helm the at different points along the way since '08

Production is scheduled to start in Georgia sometime this fall.
