Can't Forgive A Grudge
Ghost House Pictures and Mandate have plans for a second remake of The Grudge reports Bloody Disgusting.
What began as two Japanese short films in 1998, 'Ju-On' were then remade for the big screen by director Takashi Shimizu, as 'Ju-on: The Grudge.'
That then spawned the 2004 American remake "The Grudge" with Sarah Michelle Gellar starring as an American exchange student in Japan. Her character takes a job as a care worker where she comes upon the curse that plagues the Japanese suburban home of the deceased Saeki family.
There were two more sequels. The last one, 'The Grudge 3,' went straight to disc in 2009.
There's no word if this remake/reboot will go theatrical
I say Ho-Hum....
