TDKR: Bat-Wing Size & Crash; Cat-Chase

The aerial vehicle had a bit of trouble over the weekend...Going off course during filming hitting a street lamp, demolishing one entire side of the craft.

Unlike other Bat-vehicles used here however, Nolan only has one of these to work with.

It took a large crew over an hour to fix the damage and they reshot the same scene a second time, no injuries were reported.  Photos of the Batwing crash can be seen by clicking here

Also over the weekend Anne Hathaway's stunt double was spotted driving at top speed down a freeway on her Batpod chasing Tumblers for the Pittsburgh shoot

Nolan calls action on the DKR from a screenplay he wrote with bro Jonathan Nolan, from a story by Nolan and David S. Goyer

The sequel is in production in PA till the end of the month and is set to hit theaters on July 20th, 2012.
