Hoult Goes Off To War In "Sand Castle"

Nicholas Hoult ("X-Men: First Class") has joined the Iraq War drama "Sand Castle" says THR.

Chris Roessner wrote the 2012 Black Listed script that charts his two year stint as a machine gunner in Iraq's Sunni Triangle.

Commercials director Seb Edwards will call action making his feature debut with the film

Hoult plays Matt Ocre who, along with Roessner and their leader Sergeant Baker, attempted to protect a dangerous farming village.

 Mark Gordon will produce the film.
