Stretch Armstrong has found a director and hired a new writer says Deadline New York.Director Rob Letterman (Monsters vs Aliens, Shark Tale) has signed on to direct the live-action 3-D pic based on the classic toy Nicholas Stoller from Forgetting Sarah Marshall will do a rewrite.
Original screenplay was penned by Steve Oedekerk.
Brian Grazer, Brian Goldner and Bennett Schneir will produce the pic
