Twilight star Kristen Stewart is wanted for the lead female role in Wanted 2 says E! Online. Both the studio and director Timur Bekmambetov, are interested in Stewart playing a new assassin in the Fraternity and have met at least once with the actress. but no offer has been made.
James McAvoy is still due to return in the lead role but Angelina Jolie seemingly departed the follow up.
As of now though the whole film remains only a "slim possibility".
Stewart's The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn commitments may rule her out of the running if the studio wants to get moving on this follow-up. Yet even Bekmambetov is looking into other.projects as well
