Greg Mottola ("Superbad," "Adventureland") has been pegged to write an adaptation of Leanne Shapton's book Important Artifacts says Risky Business.
The romantic comedy will be a narrative taken from newspaper art director Shapton's Important Artifacts and Personal Property from the Collection of Lenore Doolan and Harold Morris, Including Books, Street Fashion, and Jewelry which is a fictional auction catalog made up of items and photos from a four-year romance between a male photographer and a younger food columnist.
Brad Pitt and Natalie Portman will produce the pic and were attached to star as of early last year.
