Billy Crystal (pictured) is attached to star and produce the film about the differences in parenting philosophies between the last two generations.
Crystal would play a grandfather forced to babysit his three grandchildren by the modern day rules of his daughter who is away on a week long business trip.
He's soon confronted by the absurdity of modern parenting - tailored meals, no losing at sports, and discussion of emotions. He then decides to try old-school-style discipline.
Joe Syracuse and Lisa Addario wrote the script based on an idea by Crystal.
Peter Chernin will produce the pic.
