Catching Hugo

Emily Mortimer ("Match Point") and Michael Stuhlbarg ("A Serious Man") have joined the cast of Martin Scorsese's 3-D family adventure "Hugo Cabret" reports Heat Vision.

Based on Brian Selznick's children's fantasy story set in the 1930's and follows an orphan (Asa Butterfield) who lives in the walls of a busy Paris train station maintaining the clocks. Attempting to repair a mechanical man, he becomes caught up in a strange adventure.

Mortimer plays the station's flower shop girl and Stuhlbarg plays a film restorer.

Ben Kingsley, Sacha Baron Cohen, Chloe Moretz, Jude Law, Ray Winstone, Christopher Lee, Helen McCrory, Frances de la Tour and Richard Griffiths also star.

John Logan adapted the script .

Scorsese, Graham King, Tim Headington, and Johnny Depp will produce.

Production is currently underway in the UK and the film is set to open December 9th 2011.
