If you are a regular reader of this blog you know how I feel about the industry's obsession with the 3-D format--Basically I think the format has been used solely to pad ticket sales for the studios' bottom line....While I have no problems with making profits--Did we really need Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore in 3-D?
C'mon you know I'm right--Just because it can be in 3-D--doesn't mean it should be
THR has a great article on this very subject...Film executives scoff at notion of '3D fatigue' While the story says the box office share is falling-- they say that's due to screen crunch...
Accepting that there is no fatigue right now there will be at some point and then what's Hollywood gonna do?
