Comedian Richard Lewis has joined Amy Heckerling's upcoming horror rom-com Vamps says PR Newswire. The contemporary story follows two beautiful young vampires (Alicia Silverstone, Krysten Ritter) who enjoy the New York City nightlife until romance jeopardizes their immortality.
Lewis will play a former student activist who now works as a lawyer with the American Civil Liberties Union
Sigourney Weaver and Kristen Johnson also star.
Writer/director Heckerling starts shooting in August in Detroit.

Considering that Heckerling's last film I Could Never Be Your Woman, starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Paul Rudd and Saoirse Ronan, went directly to DVD, and Loser with Jason Biggs bombed on the big screen prior to that....We shall see...
