Desperate Housewives beauty Eva Longoria Parker has nixed long standing talk of her playing Wasp in "The Avengers" in an interview with HitFix. She says "I had taken a meeting about a different movie at Marvel and that's where [it all] started
She doesn't mind the chatter though - "I think it's a fantastic rumor and I'm just going to go with it and maybe it'll get me hired."
