I'm playing a game of catch up today...

-After months of troubles due to financial woes at MGM "Bond 23". finally has a release date....Sam Mendes will direct Daniel Craig in the film set for a Nov 2012 release says THR. -It seems the first trailer for Captain America: The First Avenger has been delayed to ensure the footage is very strong when it finally hits  There are 2 images from the comic book pic making the rounds - a shot of  Hugo Weaving in character as Red Skull (pre-makeup as Johann Schmidt) holding the Cosmic Cube--concept art of Red Skull after the transformation can be found here.

-Disney Channel series "Phineas & Ferb" is being turned into a theatrical feature that will combine live-action and animated elements reports Deadline. Premiering in 2007, the animated series follows two kindhearted suburban stepbrothers on summer vacation. Each day the boys embark on some grand new project, which annoys their controlling sister, Candace, who tries to bust them. No story details of the  film been been revealed. -Jeremy Piven and Mike O'Malley have joined the cast of the action-comedy "So Undercover says Variety . The film centers on a private investigator (Miley Cyrus) hired by the FBI to go undercover in a college sorority. Piven will play an fed agent, while O'Malley plays Cyrus' father Tom Vaughan ("What Happens in Vegas") will direct from a script by Allan Loeb and Steven Pearl.

-Dreamworks is developing a Bollywood - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia style animated feature musical set in Mumbai and based on the Hindu epic poem "Ramayana" reports Variety.

-"Deadwood" co-stars Molly Parker and John Hawkes will star in the indie drama "The Playroom" says Variety.Set in 1975, the pair will play suburban parents of four. Their volatile teenage daughter (Olivia Harris) acts as a kind of surrogate mother to the younger children, who themselves "have created a make-believe world in their attic hideaway while the parents act out a sordid story below. Cody Linley also stars as the daughter's boyfriend. Julia Dyer ("Late Bloomers") directs from a script by her sister Gretchen Dyer. Filming is currently under way in Dallas.

-Jon Favreau has confirmed in a Tweet that there'll be a  Super Bowl XLV ad for Cowboys & Aliens and that it's being worked on right now.

-Director Paul Greengrass has announced that his next project will be "Memphis", a film about the lead-up to Martin Luther King, Jr's  assassination in Tennessee in 1968 reports Vulture.
