An adaptation of Boston Teran's novel, the story follows an outlaw who attempts to smuggle a cache of weapons into Mexico during that country's revolution. He is caught but then helped by a government agent whom he once knew.
Bale will play the bad guy Rawbone.
Leo DiCaprio was circling the film last Summer. There's been no word about DiCaprio's involvement since that time.
"Little Children" director Todd Field is going to helm the film from his adapted screenplay.
