"Drive" star Ryan Gosling, co-star Christina Hendricks and producer Marc Platt are ready to reunite for "How To Catch a Monster" according to The Film Stage.
Described as a "modern day fairytale" with suspense and fantasy noir elements weaved in, the story is set in a vanishing city where a single mother of two (Hendricks) is "swept into a macabre and dark fantasy underworld while her teenage son discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town". The pair must solve the mystery if they're all to survive.
The motion picture will mark Gosling's writing and directing debut
It's expected that the pic will be sold at the upcoming Toronto International Film Festival
Production is aiming to kick off in the Spring.
