The story centers on a woman (Natalie Portman) who must defend her farm when her outlaw husband returns home after a gunfight at death's door. With his gang coming to kill them, she seeks the help of an ex-lover (Fassbender) to defend themselves.
Brian Duffield wrote the script which forced a bidding war at the Cannes Film Festival and also made last year's annual Black List of best unproduced screenplays.
