It's "No Easy Day" For Spielberg

Steven Spielberg is said to be in talks to direct a film adaptation of "No Easy Day", a book by former SEAL Team Six member Matt Bissonnette aka Mark Owen, says The Atlantic Wire.

This is a first-hand account of what happened on the ground during Operation Neptune Spear - the raid on Osama bin Laden's hiding place in Pakistan which led to the death of the al-Qaeda leader.

The film is only in the early stages of development, far behind two other movies about the military operation which are due for release this year--Kathryn Bigelow's topical war drama Zero Dark Thirty and John Stockwell's true bin Laden actioner Code Name Geronimo
