Denzel & Brad Take Trip To "Candy Store"

Brad Pitt and Denzel Washington are in very early talks to star in the crime thriller "Candy Store" says The Hollywood Reporter.

The story follows a highly trained deep-cover operative who starts his life over in Brooklyn as a beat cop. He soon discovers the global organization he was dedicated to fighting is also operating in his new backyard.

The pic as a 'two-hander'--meaning there's meaty roles for the two main characters.

The Wrap reports that Christoph Waltz has an offer to star as well

Stephen Gaghan will be directing from his own screenplay. He of course won an Academy Award for writing Steven Soderbergh's Traffic. He also co-wrote M. Night Shyamalan upcoming sci-fi film After Earth.

Jamie Foxx was reportedly said to be keen to take one of the roles in "Candy" as well.
