The LA Times reports that Leo DiCaprio may take one of the lead roles in the western Creed of Violence
An adaptation of Boston Teran's novel, the story follows an outlaw who attempts to smuggle a cache of weapons into Mexico during that country's revolution. He is caught but then helped by a government agent whom he once knew.
DiCaprio has been offered both the role of the agent and the outlaw, but has yet to official sign on for either part.

If he signs this would be Leo's 2nd Western The actor is also set for the Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, which finds DiCaprio the owner of a sprawling ranch that employees female slaves as prostitutes, and pits male slaves in fights to the death.
A Christmas 2012 release is already planned for Creed
