Emma Stone is in early talks to star in the Guillermo del Toro-directed haunted house thriller "Crimson Peak" says Variety.
Stone is expected to be the first to sign on for the film. Plot specs are being kept under wraps.
del Toro and Lucinda Coxon are rewriting the original script by del Toro and Matthew Robbins.
Ptoduction kicks off in February.
