Reynor Gets "Transformers 4" Role

Jack Reynor has landed the young male lead role in the as yet "Untitled Transformers Sequel" says THR.


The new film folows a high school student, and daughter of Mark Wahlberg's character, and her racecar driver boyfriend--Reynor is expected to be signed for three-picture deal.

Hunter Parrish ("Weeds"), Luke Grimes ("Taken 2"), Landon Liboiron ("Terra Nova"), and Reynor were up for the boyfriend role while Isabelle Cornish Andie MacDowell's real-life daughter Rainey Qualley and Gabriella Wilde  were in the mix to play the daughter.

The story will take place four years after the events of the last film.

Ehren Kruger ("Transformers: Dark of the Moon") is writing the script for the Michael Bay directed fourth film which hits theaters on June 27th, 2014

In December Twitchfilm reported Nicola Peltz and Brenton Thwaites were set to play the two younger lead roles in the sequel--But at the time neither Bay or Paramount Pictures would confirm the casting. And now we know why.
