Oscars '13: Oscar Nominations

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences handed out their nominations this morning--unveiled by this year's Oscar host Seth MacFarlane and the lovely actress Emma Stone Seth is only the second Oscar host to take part in the nominations announcements. In 1972, Charlton Heston was the first show host to participate in the annual nominations announcement.

The Oscar ceremonies will be broadcast live by ABC from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on Sunday February 24th.

As 9 films vie for Best Picture Steven Spielberg's Lincoln biopic leads with 12 nods. Skyfall gets noticed for score song and sound but Javier Bardem as bad guy Silva is overlooked...
