The team behind the rom-com Crazy, Stupid, Love directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, are up for a biopic based on the recent WIRED® Magazine article "John McAfee's Last Stand" says Variety
The duo will write, direct and produce the film about John McAfee--a former NASA programmer, and software guru who developed the first commercial anti-virus program. McAfee has been evading authorities in Belize who sought to question him about the murder of American expatriate and neighbor Gregory Viant Faull.
At the peak of his success, McAfee was said to be worth $100 million. After the financial crisis of 2008, he was forced to sell almost everything he owned.
