The Wrap suggests that Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who is best-known for his
role in another superhero movie, "Kick-Ass" is the frontrunner for the role.
Last month, Whedon confirmed that both
Quicksilver (a.k.a. Pietro Maximoff) and his sister Scarlet Scarlet Witch (a.k.a. Wanda
Maximoff) will be a part of the team up sequel. Meantime we already know that American Horror Story favorite Evan Peters will portray Quicksilver in director Bryan Singer's "X-Men: Days of Future Past
Quicksilver possesses the gift of superhuman speed, while his sister Scarlet
Witch can control the power of probability.
Marvel and 20th Century Fox share the rights to these characters, whose father
is Magneto from the X-Men film series.
The Avengers 2 starts production early next year. Days Of Futures Past is filming now for release next July. Johnson can be seen in Kick-Ass 2 in August,
