Avengers 2: Elizabeth Olsen Talks Scarlet Witch

Still out promoting  Spike Lee's remake of Chan-wook Park's 2003 cult classic "Old Boy" actress Elizabeth Olsen talked about  playing the role of Wanda Maximoff, a.k.a. Scarlet Witch-in writer/director Joss Whedon's superhero team up sequel "The Avengers: Age of Ultron"

She tells AICN:

"I never read these comics before, not Scarlet Witch. She's nuts, she's crazy. She has more things wrong with her than any character I've ever played. She can tell you where an object has been, she can tell you what your future is, she can connect with the dead and people from other universes, and she's the only person in this universe who's capable of doing that. She's unbelievable; it's so cool. I grew up loving Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings, and anything that has this other type of world or universe to it is so fun."

Olsen has an idea of what her costume will look like, but can't give anything away:

"I do have a sense. But I have logic and mind enough not to share it. [Laughs] I know what the costume is going to be more or less like. I'm just excited that she's never been portrayed in film or on television before."

Olsen gets to reunite with her "Godzilla" redux co-star Aaron Taylor-Johnson who plays her twin brother Quicksilver in 'Ultron', American Horror Story favorite Evan Peters plays a different incarnation of the speedy superhero in Bryan Singer's "X-Men: Days of Future Past"--now in post-production--that film hits screens May 23rd 2014.

While the sequel DOES NOT follow the Age of Ultron comics storyline--in which the big bad Ultron was created by Hank Pym who becomes Ant-Man. James Spader will both voice Ultron, and he'll have to do some kind of motion-capture as well--This news puts to rest the most popular theory suggesting that Tony Stark's (Robert Downey Jr,) robot butler J.A.R.V.I.S. (voiced by Paul Bettany) operating system from the Iron Man Films would turn into the villain.

Marvel vets RDJ, Chris Evans Chris Hemsworth Scarlett Johansson Samuel L. Jackson Jeremy Renner Mark Ruffalo, Clark Gregg and Cobie Smulders who are all expected back

Production on the 'Avengers' sequel is slated to begin in March to meet a release date of May 1, 2015
