Affleck is a close friend of the former actor who decided to quit the biz in favor of a musical career as a rapper, with an album to be produced by Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs.
He is scheduled to make his first public performance Friday at a club in Las Vegas, which will officially start the production.
I don't know if Phoenix made the right move to the other arena but it will be interesting to see what Affleck comes up with.
