Romanek And Casey Affleck Track "Boston Strangler"

Variety reports that Mark Romanek ("Never Let Me Go," "One Hour Photo") is in talks to call action on the crime drama "Boston Strangler".

Based on the true story of Albert DeSalvo, aka the Boston Strangler the film will follow a detective trying to solve the case of a notorious serial killer in Boston during the early 1960s.

Chuck MacLean penned the script

Casey Affleck is set to star and executive produce the film.
