Another band of Jim Henson's Muppets are headed to the big screen...Get ready for Fraggle Rock: The Movie says Variety.
Just like, the 80's TV series the film will be populated by a mix of human characters and Fraggle Rock characters like Gogo, Wembley, Mokey, Boober and Red.
Strong DVD sales of the first three seasons of the show are said to have been a contributing factor for this film heading into production.
Cory Edwards will write direct the film--while The Jim Henson Company will produce and The Weinstein Company will handle the distribution.
This film has been talked about for years...With Kermit's gang also coming back to theaters soon...It's a great time to be made of felt in Hollywood.
