Jonah's Big Jump

Jonah Hill. is gonna co-produce and write the screenplay for the big screen adaptation of 80's TV series "21 Jump Street" says Entertainment Weekly.

The series, which ran from 1987-1990, starred Johnny Depp as officer Tom Hanson and Peter DeLuise as officer Doug Penhall whose job it was to infiltrate high schools undercover and fight crime

It hasn't been decided whether Hill will star in the movie.

Neal H. Moritz and series co-creator Stephen J. Cannell will also produce.

Given Hill's comedic talents...I wonder if the film will be a spoof or a flick that uses the show's premise and title--and nothing else from the show...
