Director Michael Bay confirmed on his message board that he has cast Aussie soap actress Isabel Lucas for the role of "Alice" in Transformers 2.
Lucas was first mentioned by IGN-but after two previous casting rumors were shot down by Bay--everything was iffy as far as casting...
Meanwhile the new question is: Will the bots do battle in 3-D?
The latest issue of the Dolby newsletter asserts the possibility. The potential problem with this item though is the availability of 3D screens with "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" already taking the lion's share of a lot of the Digital 3D screens.
I really hope that the 3-D option is avoided with the sequel-As cool as that may sound it just smaks of "gimmick"
