Goodfellas

After 13 years apart...One of the most successful director/actor duos of all time are getting set to team up again.

Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro are going to work on mob the drama I Heard You Paint Houses reports Variety.

Scorsese will call action and De Niro will play Frank "the Irishman" Sheeran, a mob assassin reputed to have carried out more than 25 murders.

The title refers to mob slang for contract killings.

Steven Zaillian adapts author Charles Brandt novel. The author befriended Sheeran shortly before the latter's death in 2003 and among the crimes Sheeran confessed to Brandt was the killing and dismemberment of Jimmy Hoffa.

The project would mark the ninth Scorsese-helm ed film that DeNiro has appeared in, the last being 1995's "Casino"

This is great news...The pair have a wonderful kinetic rapport--even their worst collaboration as far as some folks are concerned The King of Comedy is under apreciated and very watchable

I wonder if Scotsese's other favorite actor Leonardo DiCaprio is free?
