Suicide Note

Justin Marks will adapt the DC comics series "Suicide Squad " for the big screen says Variety.

Originally created a back-up feature in 1960s "The Brave and the Bold,"book the stories focused on a team of non-super-powered people fighting monstrous menaces.

The Squad was relaunched in the 1980s as a team of super villains given one last shot at redemption by the government by accomplishing missions that will most likely kill them.

This is the setup that that the studio will work from.

The villain has yet to be determined. (Deadshot?).

Dan Lin and Stephen Gilchrist will produce

Marks also wrote the Green Arrow prison movie "Super Max" which sees many famous comic book villains emerge-that's stalled out of late.

He's also writing Hack/Slash and has Street Fighter®: The Lengend of Chun-Li opening tomorrow.
