Playing His Mentor

Bill Condon is shopping his script for the biopic "Richard Pryor: Is It Something I Said?" to the studio suits says EW.



Pryor's pal and inspiree Eddie Murphy is attached to star.

Condon previously had the project set up at The Weinstein Company but managed to keep it close when it was put it into turnaround.

Murphy is a perfect choice to take this one on.

Fox Searchlight is apparently interested in the project.
