Arm-Twisting

Another popular toy from my childhood is headed for big screen stardom..

Steve Oedekerk is writing a film based on "Stretch Armstrong" reports Variety.

The toy, a 13-inch, blond-haired muscled figure whose limbs could be stretched to nearly four feet, was launched by Kenner Toys in the '70s.

The idea for the film surprisingly has been around since 1998 with Danny DeVito that fell through and later staring Jackie Chan..

Universal Pictures will distribute...

As a kid it was sure fun trying to discover what the goo inside the doll that made him stretch was made from but beyond that....Like most of these toy/game flicks recently announced...Just cause ya can make a movie about them...doesn't mean you have to or should.
