2 big films of the year take center stage...
Watchmen director Zack Snyder and co-star Malin Akerman have denied to MTV any plans for a sequel to the upcoming March 6th' film adaptation.
Akerman says "I don’t really know how [a sequel] would ever be possible. Because ‘Watchmen’ is ‘Watchmen,’ and we covered pretty much the whole novel"... Tales of the Black Freighter acts as a supplement to the film and is part of the graphic novel--I agree a sequel for the sake of sequel is a terrible notion--The film should be a solo endeavor...
Here's the trailer for Tales of the Black Freighter:
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen director Michael Bay told the folks over at Collider that the June 26th sequel will clock in at around 140 minutes, will be darker, more epic, and the robots will have more personality-thanks to better CGI.
He adds that he would do a third film but wants to take a year off first.
