Dave Annable (TV's "Brothers & Sisters") has been cast in the romantic comedy "Wedlocked" according to The Hollywood Reporter.Annable will play a pet photographer who gets mixed up with a mobster and his daughter-who wants to obtain American citizenship. Things go very wrong on their forced honeymoon.
American Idol runner-up Katharine McPhee nabbed the female lead.
Rob Hedden will direct from his own script.
Production kicks off in Hawaii next moth when Annable is on hiatus from his TV gig.
It's a shame that the female lead couldn't go to Anable's TV gal Emily VanCamp the pair has palpable on screen chemistry together.

The female lead (McPhee) was cast a couple months before the male lead (Dave). They couldn't break contract to sign Emily.
Thanks for the info Jasmine. I'm sure Miss McPhee will be fine. I would not expect the studio to break contract. Still think VanCamp would do well if she were cast in the film though
