Cocktail Hour

The Beatles are set to return to the big screen courtesy Oasis bad boy Liam Gallagher says The BBC.

The film will be based
on Richard Dilello's book, The Longest Cocktail Party that chronicles their last year together as a band

Gallagher's Spokesperson says about the film: "This will be a film with humor and affection, providing an insider's look at what it meant to be a young man caught up in the wild swirl of the music business, celebrities and the tail end of the swinging 60s in London"

No director has been named, however The Killer Inside Me director Michael Winterbottom is producing the adaptation with his production partner Andrew Eaton and Gallagher

Meantime the legendary musiucal group will also come back together on film as zombies says Deadline

Film producers Stacy Sher and Michael Shamberg (Pulp Fiction) have optioned the film rights to Alan Goldsher's music history fantasy parody novel Paul Is Undead
