The pic follows a writer (Bradley Cooper) who, at the apex of success, discovers the price he must pay for stealing the work of another man (Jeremy Irons).
Quaid will play Clay Hammond, a celebrated writer.
Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal ("Tron: Legacy") penned the script and will make their feature directorial debuts on the film.
Michael Benaroya, Jim Young and Tatiana Kelly will produce.
