The story follows an inventor of an organic cleaning product (Seth Rogen) who invites his mother (Barbra Streisand) on a cross-country road trip to sell his product to marketing outlets. However they both have secret agendas. He plans to reunite her with a long lost love from her youth, she plans to help him overcome his fear of commitment.
Yvonne Strahovski also stars as Rogen's old high school flame.who is now married to Hanks. The two let Rogen and Streisand crash with them for the night when the mother and son get caught in a blizzard during the trip
