Meg Ryan Negotiating for “Long Time Gone”

Meg Ryan is best known for her work in romantic comedies like Sleepless in Seattle and When Harry Met Sally, but she’s been more of a presence in the independent scene as of late.

And that doesn’t look to change. According to The Los Angeles Times, she’ll be starring in Sarah Siegel-Magness’ Long Time Gone, an indie drama that centers on a girl moving in with her boyfriend and his family. There’s no word on Ryan’s role just yet, but signs are pointing to her playing the mother of the boyfriend.

Ryan will next make her filmmaking debut with Little Black Train.
